Itchimbia park is al 2900 meters above sea level and has 54 acres. Keep watch for some 40 bird species and around 400 plant types, including arrayan, capuli and pumamaqui trees. Used by the incas as one of their most sacred hills. Discover this park where you can not only watch a breathtaking view of Quito old town and far, but also spot notable landmarks such as the Panecillo, San Francisco Church and Basilica del Voto Nacional.
