Hand in hand with being pet-friendly is our project to help abandoned and mistreated animals in Ecuador, principally in Quito. The project has gradually grown in importance through the hard and unselfish work that we have done to save these animals.  We are currently finishing an adoption website for the Mican Project where people seeking to adopt can discover animals available for adoption.  The Mican Project has also had positive local and international recognition due to the unique service it offers to the public.
